A Skeleton in the Family
Leigh Perry
Summer Song - Louise Blaydon This was a great book, it really captured the innocence of first love and the fear of doing something that not only was immoral for most of society but was also illegal. I really enjoyed the way that the perspectives changed from chapter to chapter. It was sweet seeing how the Billy and Len felt about each other and then how it was to be an observer to this blossoming relationship. I adore happy endings and this book didn't disappoint. The characters were well developed and while not everything may have been authentic to the period but the important things were. I can see why this book is an award winner.
