This is really hard to classify for me. I did enjoy it and there were some really good elements but there were also some very underdeveloped parts as well. The build up to the confrontation was great but the suspense just wasn't all that suspenseful. It was full of over used plot devices and what seemed to be forced angst. I expected more from a book that started out so well. It just felt like the author's ran out of steam and couldn't keep the momentum of the story going. I gave it four stars because the main characters were well developed and believable. And despite a lack luster ending I did enjoy the ride. For any other book the ending would've been just fine, but the earlier part of the book held such promise I expected more from the author's when it came to tying up the story.
